Professional Coach & Change Agent
Working for large and small companies, including Verizon, Capgemini, VeriSign, MarketSphere, and River Logic, Sheri has played key roles in developing innovative technologies, creating profitable business strategies and building key relationships with C-level partners and customers. The networks and applications that she has worked with have changed our everyday lives as consumers, including digital telephony, mobile gaming & commerce, and interactive TV.
Sheri is the co-founder of the Soluna Institute and currently holds a position on its Board of Directors. Her belief in the benefits of leveraging the strengths of women in corporate leadership and in the importance of authentic culture led her to co-create this not-for-profit “think tank”. Members of the Soluna community recognize that valuing diversity is not only “the right thing to do”, it is also critical to financial prosperity and sustainability.
Previous Board positions include the DFW American Marketing Association (DFWAMA) and the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce (DJCC). For the DFWAMA, she led teams of volunteers to create programs that provided education and networking opportunities for members. She created a Professional Development group, which focused on helping displaced Marketing Professionals find resources, education and support as they transitioned. In addition, she created a Mentor Program, where junior marketing professionals were paired with senior executives from Fortune 500 companies to help further their professional goals. Sheri also volunteers with the Family Place and the Dallas Women’s Foundation.
As a motivational speaker, Sheri speaks to corporate and professional organizations to inspire them to take personal responsibility for their careers, to have courage to face challenges, to celebrate their successes and to 'pay it forward' by mentoring others.
Sheri earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Logistics, with a Minor in Business Law from Penn State University and an MBA in International Marketing from the University of Dallas. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
